24/08/11 - Health & Safety / Compliance Workshops From The Painting And Decorating Association

Low cost workshops covering the subjects of health and safety and compliance and accreditation for painting and decorating industry professionals are being held at locations across the UK.

The Painting and Decorating Association (PDA) is working in partnership with CITB Construction Skills to host the workshops, which apply to members and non members of the PDA.

The first workshop has been developed to keep decorating companies up-to-date with health and safety information.

The second workshop covers compliance and accreditation for painting and decorating contractors.

At some locations, the two workshops will run over a single day and delegates can choose to go to one or both sessions.

Prices for the workshops are £25.00 per session for PDA members and £32.00 for non members.

Neil Ogilvie, Chief Executive of the PDA, said: “These workshops offer a great opportunity to access professional training at a low cost.

“The content of the workshops will ultimately help painters and decorators with the day-to-day running of their business.”
