About NigelNigel has more than 20 years’ experience in journalism and public relations, with specialist knowledge of regeneration, local authority affairs and social housing. He worked in newspapers in the North West and West Midlands for 14 years, as a senior reporter. Nigel worked as Senior Media Relations Officer at Stoke-on-Trent City Council, working predominantly in major regeneration projects and housing. Nigel has expertise in media relations with national and regional titles, the broadcast media and the specialist trade press. He is also an experienced trainer in media handling, crisis management and damage limitation.
