Jane Shepherd - Director 

Jane founded Shepherd PR in the 1990s. She trained as a journalist and has worked for a national press agency, magazines and regional daily papers.

Successes include leading Dawn Gibbins MBE, chairman of Flowcrete Group plc, to take the title of the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year title. Jane has also written a 200-page book for Seddon, one of the UK’s largest, family-owned construction companies.  Her passion includes all things web-related, with online PR a particular favourite.

Jane completed a post-graduate certificate in newspaper journalism at Sheffield College and has a degree in English and History from the University of Keele.

She also served as a media operations officer in the Royal Air Force and has completed media training for Government agencies and held advisory consultancy roles in crisis management.

David Johnson – PR Account Director

Formerly Business Editor at one of the UK’s largest daily regional newspapers, David produces PR that works. He has written for the Telegraph and magazines and he is a published author.

David asks the right questions to find out exactly what customers want to achieve and he uses his journalistic experience and extensive media contacts to maximise coverage.

Jo Foster - Online PR Account Manager

Online PR is constantly changing and Jo ensures the work we do stays at the forefront of the industry.

With a focus on the facts and figures in terms of online PR activity and coverage, Jo also provides a valuable measuring and evaluation service – making sure clients receive a co-ordinated, professional service that explains what’s been done, what’s being done – and what the work overall has achieved.

Tristan Ofield - Video Editor

Tristan is one of our in-house film production experts, producing exceptional videos that get our customers’ messages across. An Apple-accredited video editor, Tristan uses the latest technology to script, shoot and edit films, as well as creating and co-ordinating effective podcasts.

He is experienced at interpreting what a client wants and translating that into tailor-made and targeted audio-visual PR and he co-ordinates the audio files appearing on our customer podcast area on iTunes.

Tristan has a degree in Theatre.

Erin Healey - Account Executive

Journalism graduate Erin is a skilled PR Account Executive. She has an ear for a story, produces copy that gets noticed and she has a wide network of media contacts.

Alex Gilford - Video Editor

A former Stoke-on-Trent College Media Studies student and Staffordshire University graduate, Alex shoots and edits videos that help raise the profile of our customers. He oversees the transfer of footage into DVD format and co-ordinates its upload to YouTube and other social media sites.
